Payment Options

For online payments we accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We also accept cash for orders placed in store.

Delivery

Deliveries to all areas including interstate and overseas are at a flat rate of $15 per order, to be added at the time of check out. (These prices are subject to change at any time.)

Orders

Monday-Friday: Orders must be received before 1.30pm in the recipient's time zone for same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

Saturday: Orders must be received before 10.00am in the recipient's time zone for same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day business day.

Sunday & Public Holidays: We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays and Public Holidays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

These cut off times do not apply to busy floral events including (but not limited to) Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Christmas. Please check with us for the order cut off times for these days.
For Wedding and function work we can discuss delivery at time of appointment.
While we try to deliver your order at the requested time, it is not possible to guarantee that these times will be achieved. There are often local reasons why an order cannot be delivered within your preferred time frame (for example, courier delivery times). If the flowers are for a timed event (for example, a funeral or business location), we will do our best to assist. However, we strongly recommend that you provide us with an alternative address so the flowers can be delivered elsewhere if too late for the timed event.
A local delivery fee is added to each order, for each address.
The Flower Hut will try our best to ensure your flowers are delivered on time to the right location.
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses, secured buildings or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
We do not deliver to PO BOX or LOCKED BAG addresses.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer same day delivery or deliver to some locations due to their remoteness. Some deliveries may be required to be collected from the nearest depot; if this is the case the recipient will be notified.
Petals Network can not guarantee any specific delivery times for Gift Baskets and Gift delivery. Our suppliers use 3rd party courier services such as Australian Air Express Couriers and are only given a guarantee of a delivery date not time. You can track the progress of your delivery by contacting the courier service with your consignment number - which can be obtained from HQ.

Alcohol

In Australia, it is illegal for alcohol to be purchased by or delivered to any person under the age of 18 and similar conditions may apply in other countries. The sender of the item is responsible for ensuring that their order complies with the law in this regard and absolves The Flower Hut and it's susidaries of any responsibility in this regard.

Alcohol Deliveries with Flowers:

The Flower Hut does not guarantee the delivery of alcohol with all purchases. The laws regarding the sending of alcohol are very complicated.

Why The Flower Hut does not guarantee the delivery of alcohol with all purchases:

The Flower Hut is unable to guarantee the recipient of the gift is over the legal age in that state or country.
The recipient of the gift may have certain religious beliefs
Certain countries or States have laws that prohibit the sending of alcohol
Certain countries or States require florists to possess a licence to send alcohol with flower orders

If you place an order that includes alcohol and we are not able to deliver the alcohol because of one of the reasons stated above, our florists will replace the alcohol (to equal value) with flowers or gift items that suit your order. You will not be advised of this replacement.

Please note that you are able to nominate a second gift preference when placing an order that includes alcohol.

Alcohol with Gift Baskets:

If an item in our gift range contains alcohol as per the description on the website, alcohol will be delivered with the item. The Flower Hut cannot deliver more than 2 litres of alcohol with an order.

Information We Collect

If you open an account on our site or make a purchase, we need your contact information including your name, e-mail address and mailing address to complete your transaction. When you visit our website, we also collect some basic information that does not identify individual users. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

All user credit card information is securely communicated using secure socket layer (SSL) software, which is the industry standard and among the best software available for secure commerce transactions.

All user information stored on our server is stored in an encrypted format. Notwithstanding these efforts, we caution you that perfect security does not exist on the Internet.
